Case Study:

In the 2026 World Cup, Dave travelled to Kansas City to present a Keynote at the KC Chamber, fulfilling a brief to provoke thought and debate about Kansas City’s World Cup legacy.

Dave’s Presentation, “Jules Rimet Still Gleaming, Kansas City Dreaming”, was typical of his speaking work, and showcased his ability to educate, entertain and provoke an audience. Having engaged in a series of briefings with Joe Reardon and David Pruente from the KC Chamber, Dave crafted a bespoke 45 minute presentation which gave attendees a sense of the history and importance of the World Cup, the place of their city in that history, and showed the way that hosted a major event can leave a positive and uplifting legacy. It also highlighted the pitfalls of the wrong kind of legacy, and gave members of the KC Chamber ideas on what Kansas City’s World Cup legacy might be, focusing on Youth Football and Public Health.
